• Malachi’s full service contracting business, The Salcido Connection, Inc., enjoys its status as a 20-year multi-disciplined contracting and project development firm in Central Washington state; the largest in the region.

      He is the founder, owner, and President of the firm, with a six-person management team in place that oversees all aspects of the day-to-day operations of this rapidly growing design-build & negotiated price 40-50 employee contracting firm.

      Specializations include heavy mechanical, facilities, major electrical, site development, utilities / telecommunications / dataspace / critical infrastructure environments, and both State & Federal specialized contracting opportunities.

      Malachi’s formal training includes technical trade school, accounting, and finance degrees. He is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant, and spent several years practicing for a large regional firm while operating his then start-up contracting business.

      He is also licensed as a Master Electrician in Washington State, and holds a Bachelor of Science, Accounting and Finance, from Central Washington University, Ellensburg, Washington.

      A frequent presenter and keynote speaker, Malachi most recently delivered the keynote address at the annual Mid-C Seminar, which explores current issues facing the West including the new market initiatives, the evolving market, and local Mid-C challenges.

Michelle Hoffman

Chief Financial Officer

Michelle oversees and manages all accounting and financial operations, implements operational best practices, manages budgets and employee benefits for Salcido Connection. A 16-year member of the team, Michelle holds degrees in accounting and computer applications and has training in employment law.

Rob Fritz

Chief Operating Officer

Rob handles the daily operations of the Salcido Connection, including management oversight and production coordination with all areas of the company. In his role, Rob develops growth strategies that align with company goals and values and ensures the highest levels of customer satisfaction. Rob has over 20 years of experience in heavy contracting and the electrical trade, and holds a Washington State Electrical Administrator license.

Carmen McCrystal

Office Manager

Carmen coordinates and manages the administrative duties for the Salcido Connection organization. She assists in accounting and project implementation. With a decade of experience in the HVAC/R Construction Industry, she strives to maintain and grow a valued client base, sustain good working relationships with suppliers, and provide positive communication with coworkers to ensure integrity and superior customer service.

Garth Davis

Strategic Projects Manager

Garth provides developmental support and oversight of both custom design-build and print specified Mechanical projects. Using a combination of over 35 years of direct industry experience and 30 years of project leadership, Garth helps Salcido Connection provide experienced leadership realistically assessing Mechanical project needs/requirements, creating solutions and implementing those solutions for a wide range of applications, residential to heavy commercial and market refrigeration.

Molly Nelson

Executive Assistant to the CEO

Molly handles numerous administrative responsibilities within Salcido Connection. She acts as the point of contact between executives and others, prioritizing and managing correspondences and scheduling. With over 10 years’ experience in office administration settings, Molly ensures everyone is optimally equipped to consistently provide exceptional customer service. Molly holds a Bachelor of Arts in English degree from the University of Washington.
